The mission of the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo is to creatively and diligently assist the community’s lower income citizens in securing and maintaining long-term housing. For the staff of the Housing Authority to succeed at this mission, a highly productive environment is needed to support their daily operations. The work of the Housing Authority, since its inception in 1968, has been nothing less than exceptional. The vital and needed work that this organization has produced with limited resources is truly inspirational. A more supportive and productive “home” for the Housing Authority to conduct its continued work and dedication to the community will surely take their mission to a whole new level and provide the fulfillment of this communities need for housing long into the future.
